Sarah Dyball Award

Sarah Dyball Award

Sarah Dyball was a valued and well-respected Trustee of the MBDT when she passed away in 2021. In memory of Sarah, the Trustees wish to make an annual award in September of each year to individuals, either young or mature students living in the Parish of Martham, who wish to further their education or training in order to gain a professional qualification in their chosen field. The award is nominally for £500.00 but this amount may be changed when the application is considered by the Board of Trustees.

The award may be used to support an individual with their education and training needs for vocational courses directed at particular occupations, trades or professions or for academic study aimed at gaining specific qualifications. The award can be applied for at successive stages throughout the duration of the course. The award could be used to cover course fees (other than University course fees), equipment or utensils required to undertake the course, IT equipment and help with travelling and living costs to assist the individual with achieving their qualifications.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and the application form should be submitted by 1 September each year.
