Martham Boat Dyke Trust

The Trust

The Martham Boat Dyke Trust is a registered charity that lets a number of moorings on Martham Staithe. Unlike other places with moorings on the broads, the money we charge goes to keeping the staithe maintained and helping local people and organisations. We have provided funding for instance such as household items, school trips, sports equipment, heating and provided assistance for families in hardship.

The staithe is able to accommodate vessels of varying sizes and types as spaces become available. We mow and maintain the staithe area and have recently installed 2 new benches. Discrete security cameras are in place and day to day control is overseen by a volunteer coordinator.
